Audrina PatridgeThis past March, Lauren Conrad told MTV News that she and the rest of “The Hills” cast had talked about bringing the absurdly popular reality television show to the big-screen.

But just outside of two weeks later, Heidi Montag told us in no uncertain terms that Conrad was out of her mind with delusions of grandeur, insisting in an interview that the possibility of a “Hills” feature film had never even been “discussed.”

Which one is it? Is a “Hills” film in the works? We needed a tie-breaker.

“Not on my end,” Audrina Patridge told us from the set of her new movie “Sorority Row.” “I don’t know. I haven’t really heard anything about a ‘Hills’ movie, so no.”

But would Audrina be interested should the opportunity arise? Read more...

Halloween is such a special time of year for fanboys and -girls: We can finally come out of the closet and literally wear our enthusiasm for our favorite book/movie/comic/TV-show characters. But when that favorite is "Twilight," you've got an interesting problem. How do you dress as a vampire who wants to blend in with regular humans?

Well, obviously, that kind of negative, uncreative thinking does not abound in the "Twilight" community. As early as August, the TwilightMoms were eagerly planning their costumes. And TwilightPoison.com has super-detailed instructions on the makeup and wardrobe required for vegetarian or non-vegetarian vampires (with links to sites that sell color contacts), and a special section for the boys. It's been quite a week here at MTV, as we've rolled up to Halloween with five straight days of exclusive looks at upcoming horror films (and frightening comics...click here for those). We gave you a glimpse at Elizabeth Banks' in "The Uninvited," spoke to Kevin Smith about "Red State,", gave a first look at the upcoming "Friday the 13th" remake, examined "Twilight" vampires compared to other pop culture bloodsuckers, chatted up Sam Raimi about "Drag Me to Hell," and spoke to Cam Gigandet about "The Unborn." Whew!

Check out all those stories above, and then watch our Halloween round-up below. And tell us in the comments, what're your Hallo plans? Any of you planning a movie-themed costume?

Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart in 'Twilight'Twilighters, mark your calendars — starting today (October 31), Fandango and MovieTickets.com are making advance tickets for “Twilight” (out November 21) available. And just because it’s Halloween, a special trick-or-treat is available to every “Twilight” ticket purchaser: a free download of “Bella’s Lullaby (Remix)" on iTunes.

"We recognize and appreciate the passion of our fan base," Summit Entertainment CEO Rob Friedman said in a statement, "and want to give back by providing a unique piece of content created exclusively for them, something that can't be purchased or obtained anywhere else."

A redeemable code to download the song on iTunes expires on February 28. Read more...

William BaldwinMary Lambert's already got one vampire story airing on FEARnet -- "The Dark Path Chronicles" -- but the "Pet Semetary" director has another on the way for the big screen.

"High Midnight" is about what would happen if someone like Lucy from Bram Stoker's Dracula escaped, came to America, went to the Wild West, and opened a ranch, Lambert told MTV News. The story would take place in the same time period, but right after the Civil War, and the town where the vamp finds herself in is run by a sheriff (to be played by William Baldwin) who is a drunk. He teams up with a vampire hunter (to be played by Thomas Kretschmann) to drive the vampire, Dallinserno, off the frontier.

"The female vampire is the center of the story," Lambert said. "She's the driving force. She's from another country, but she looks like a young woman, in her early 30s at the oldest." Right now, Lambert's trying to find the right actress for the part. Read more...

'RocknRolla'FROM MTV.COM How bad can the world economy be if people are still giving Guy Ritchie money to make movies? On the 10th anniversary of his breakthrough with "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" — a film about the near-incomprehensible doings of a group of London toughies with names like Dog, Plank, and Barry the Baptist — Ritchie is back with "RocknRolla," a film about the almost entirely incomprehensible doings of a group of London toughies with names like Waster, Tank and Fred the Head. Given the crash-and-burn of his last mob job, the utterly incomprehensible "Revolver" (with French Paul, Fat Dan and Lord John), the time would seem to have come for Ritchie to stop making this movie.

The plot of "RocknRolla" can be suggested in only the most impressionistic terms. There's an old-school bad guy named Lenny (Tom Wilkinson, channeling Bob Hoskins in "The Long Good Friday") and a new-school Russian bad guy named Uri (Karel Roden, revisiting the shady Russki he played in "The Bourne Supremacy"). There are also a pair of low-level gangsters named One Two and Handsome Bob (Gerard Butler and Tom Hardy), and a pair of unlikely club owners named Mickey and Roman (Jeremy Piven and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges), and a nest of gamblers called the Wild Bunch, and a crafty accountant named Stella (Thandie Newton), and a drugged-out rock star called Johnny Quid (Toby Kebbell), who happens to be Lenny's stepson (not that it matters). Suave Mark Strong plays Lenny's enforcer, Archie, and gives the only really interesting performance in the movie.

'The Forbidden Planet'After generating some major mainstream buzz with "Changeling," it looks like J. Michael Straczynski is making a big (and possibly risky) return to the science-fiction genre. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he's been hired by Warner Bros to pen their remake of the sci-fi classic, "The Forbidden Planet."

For those who haven't seen it, "Planet" is the futuristic tale of an expedition sent from Earth to the planet Altair IV to check up on a scientific colony set up 20 years earlier. Only one member is left -- Dr. Morbius, who lives with his daughter and Robby the Robot, the rest having been wiped out by a mysterious force. Morbius reveals he's boosted his intellect with the technology left behind by Altair's extinct race -- but unsurprisingly, using it produces a few nightmares, too. Read more...

Hugh GrantThe course of true love never does run smooth. It's easy for a married couple to drift apart -- your career gets in the way, their habits start driving you insane, they get bored and start flirting with the secretary. Usually, all it takes to fix the problem is some therapy, a few romantic dinners, or an extended vacation. Or you could witness a murder and join the Witness Protection Program.

According to Variety, that's the plot of a new romantic-comedy from Columbia Pictures, and romantic-comedy veterans Sarah-Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant are in negotiations to star. Marc Lawrence penned the screenplay and is attached to direct. (He must really like Grant -- they previously worked together in "Music and Lyrics" and "Two Weeks Notice.") Read more...

Halloween Week keeps rollin' right along here at MTV, and now we've got an exclusive look at one of 2009's hottest horror flicks, the Michael Bay-produced remake of "Friday the 13th."

In our interview with the film's producers, they open up about Jason and his victims and what we should expect. We also happy to unveil a couple new images from the movie, so again -- click here to check those out as well, and to hear the story behind them from the producers. Below, see our video from the set.

As you're probably aware, tomorrow marks the opening of Kevin Smith's latest cinematic opus, "Zack & Miri Make A Porno," wherein Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks attempt to join the dirty world of adult filmmaking. When interviewing the director and cast about the film (click here for that), we posted the question whether Smith was aware of any porno knock-offs of his films and whether he had any title suggestions.

Check out his response below, and then watch more from our interview with Smith, Rogen and Banks here.
