I don't think I'm alone in saying British comedian Russell Brand was probably the stand-out star of the Judd Apatow-produced "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (although lead Jason Segal got a nice Muppet deal outta it). Virtually unknown in America prior to the film, in short order he became a sensation, eventually landing on-stage as host of the MTV Video Music Awards.
