I don't think I'm alone in saying British comedian Russell Brand was probably the stand-out star of the Judd Apatow-produced "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (although lead Jason Segal got a nice Muppet deal outta it). Virtually unknown in America prior to the film, in short order he became a sensation, eventually landing on-stage as host of the MTV Video Music Awards. With "Sarah Marshall" now hitting DVD and Blu-ray, check out the karaoke version of his character's hilarious music video below, along with his audition tape after the jump.

FROM SPLASH PAGE: With the internet absolutely a’blaze over the recent announcement that Kenneth Branagh could possibly be the director on Marvel’s upcoming “Thor” film, Splash Page decided to get current “Thor” comics writer J. Michael Straczynski’s take on the news.

“Honestly, I can’t imagine anyone better suited to this,” said Straczynski, who is more widely known as the creator of “Babylon 5” and more recently, the screenwriter of the upcoming Clint Eastwood-directed Oscar contender “Changeling.” "'Thor,' at his best, has always had a classical bent to the character in terms of his history, the way he speaks, and the often Shakespearean intrigues and dramas that surround him." As "Iron Man" makes its DVD and Blu-ray debut today, what better time than to roll out our own exclusive featurette from the bonus features. Below, watch Robert Downey Jr. suit up as his metal-clad hero and hear him discuss his iconic costume. When we're all done with that, click here to read our interview with the "Iron Man" screenwriters about which deleted scenes they enjoyed the most.

They can sing. They can dance. They dominate television. And come October 24th, I think it's pretty safe to say they're going to do pretty well on the big screen. Yes, "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" is only weeks away. That's "HSM3” to those of you in the know (I'm looking at all of you). So what do you want to know from this photogenic bunch? We're talking to all of them very soon--the returning favorites and the newest additions.

All you have to do is leave a comment down below and specify who exactly your question is for. Here's who we're going to be talking to: Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Oleysa Rulin, Matt Prokop, Justin Martin, Jemma McKenzie-Brown, and director Kenny Ortega.

We'll pick the best ones and deliver the responses right here. The deadline is October 8th. Now let's hear what you want to know!

"I'm always the bad guy, aren't I?"

Garret Dillahunt is laughing that yet again, he's playing a character who's after someone else's son -- on his current television show "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," he's Cromartie, a Terminator who relentlessly pursues the Connors, and in his upcoming movie "The Road," out November 26, he's a nameless gang member who's another kind of killing machine. But just because his character has no name does not mean it's a bit part.

"No one has a name in 'The Road,'" Dillahunt explained. Like Cormac McCarthy's novel from which it's adapted, "The Road" features characters such as the man, the boy, the wife, the old man and the veteran. "Viggo Mortensen plays the man," Dillahunt said. "Kodi Smit-McPhee is the boy, and I play the gang member. We all have names like that, because it's not important, almost, in this post-apocalyptic world they create."

Cam Gigandet(Note: due to a technical error, an older blog was inadvertently posted instead of this week's actual "Twilight Tuesday" blog entry. The correct version is now posted below. We apologize for the confusion.)

A little while back, we asked “Twilight” fans to predict which of the movie’s young actors – from Taylor Lautner to Anna Kendrick to Kellan Lutz – would become the biggest Hollywood A-lister in the years to come. You can still cast your vote, but it sure looks like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are your consensus picks at the moment.

This week’s “Twilight” Tuesday shines a spotlight on Cam Gigandet, so it seems only fair to point out that if you focus solely at the current projects these actors have lined up, this guy’s future is so bright he has to wear shades.

“I’m about to head off to Berlin for a movie called ‘Pandorum,’” he told us when he stopped by the MTV studios recently. “It’s a sci-fi thriller movie starring Ben Foster and Dennis Quaid, and it’s an intense movie; it’s going to be good.” Read more...

Alan BallIt's taken Alan Ball nine years after his Oscar win for “American Beauty” to make his way back to the big-screen. Hopefully, it’ll be a much shorter trip the third time around, the “Towelhead” director laughed.

“I have two scripts that I wrote years ago, both of which I still believe in. I’m actually thinking of trying to produce one and not direct and there’s another one that I’d like to direct,” he revealed to MTV News.

Although he insists that for the immediate future he’s focusing on writing the second season of “True Blood,” his vampire series which premiered recently on HBO, Ball thinks it’s possible one or both could become big movies in the not so distant future. So what the heck are they about? Read more...
