Do you believe in miracles? It’s a question at the heart of “Henry Poole is Here,” the new dramedy from director Mark Pellington, in which a fatally ill man (Luke Wilson) goes back to his old neighborhood to die, only to be accosted by all manner of craziness when an image of Jesus Christ appears on the side of his house.
Do you believe in miracles? I don’t and never have, not in the religious sense, anyway. So I challenged Wilson and co-star Rhada Mitchell to turn my skepticism upside down by suggesting they do something outrageous, something that never would happen in a normal interview – something that could only be called “miraculous.”
