It takes guts to stamp “The most hilarious comedy of the year” on your poster, but there’s a good reason to be confident when you have Simon Pegg in your cast. Not to mention Jeff Bridges, Gillian Anderson and two of the most eye-catching starlets working today, Kirsten Dunst and Megan Fox.

A fictionalized take on the book of the same name, “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People” follows Pegg as a disillusioned, celebrity-hating British writer who relocates to New York City to find work at a Vanity Fair-esque mag. The film hits October 3; check out the poster premiere after the jump.
