On July 24th, one of televison’s most celebrated and successful series of all time will attempt its second run at the box office. “The X-Files: I Want To Believe” will reunite David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson for a supernatural mystery set outside the show’s complex mythology. Time will tell whether fans still care enough to make the film a success, but in the meantime, we flashed back to 1998 when MTV correspondent Kurt Loder visited the set of “The X-Files” during its high-flying fifth season to chat up the first movie.
