On this Twilight Tuesday, I will become the latest MTV Newser to admit that I am absolutely, 100 percent, enthusiastically hooked on the “Twilight” series. A few months ago, I realized that I kept hearing the word “Twilight” around the office. So, I decided to find out where all of this buzz was coming from.
I had no idea what I was in for.
Cut to two weeks ago … I am late for meeting because I’m sitting in the corner of the newsroom, reading the last few pages of “Twilight,” the first (and hopefully most addictive, because otherwise I’m going to be late for a lot of meetings) installment in Stephanie Meyer’s series. Cut to one week ago … I’m even more hooked as I continue to read the rest of the books in the series.
Am I the only one who craves the kind of relationship had by Edward Cullen and Bella Swan? I mean, one is a vampire, the other is human, and they, teenagers (sort of), are confronted with death, immortality, and the chance that one might at any moment end the other’s life. Still, the unending, undying, unbeatable, and literally life-or-death romance between the two characters is one that I can’t help but want to further understand, and experience.
Meyer’s ability to mesh and mold our human ideals of good and evil never ceases to amaze me. Further, the complexity of Edward Cullen’s character surprises me again and again, as I am constantly reminded simultaneously of Edward’s ability to have compassion and good-will to a higher degree than most humans, and his inhumane, animalistic desire that becomes a constant battle for him. The humanization of the vampire is something that Stephanie Meyer has mastered, but she never fails to remind us that these are, as Edward names himself, “monsters.”
You can imagine my excitement when I found out that we are unveiling a scene from the “Twilight” film at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards’ preshow. And not only that, but we get to hear the words of Stephanie Meyer herself, as she gives us an intro and a taste of what we can expect. Imagining Meyer’s words and imagery put onto film is something that both scares and excites me. I’ll be interviewing Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart during our preshow, so I’m definitely looking forward to hearing their take on the books and the movie as well. I can’t believe I’m meeting Edward and Bella (or, well, in a way). In any case, I feel confident as I finish reading the series that I am forever Team Edward, but sometimes actors and directors can change things ever so slightly, so I’m interested to see how Edward, Bella, and of course Jacob look on the big screen.
Sunday’s the big day, guys. Tune in to watch my big “Twilight” interview. But first, help me out: What questions should I ask Robert and Kristen on the red carpet?
The MTV Movie Awards will air live on MTV on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, with MTV News’ “Coming Attractions” preshow kicking the evening off at 7:30 p.m. ET! Meanwhile, stay tuned to the MTV Movies Blog and MovieAwards.MTV.com.

1) Can you pretty please with a cherry on top put your interviews on-line?
2) Were you on Veronica Mars? You look awfully familiar...(I am a huge VMars fan. I have seen every episode about a million times!)
You should ask:
Robert: Were you serious about the Ransom Spunk name? Where the heck did you get that from?
Do you like it better in the States or in the UK? Do you miss being home?
Can you tell us some more about you band? Are you really going to tour in the U.S.?
Kristen: How does it feel to be named among a list of actresses who have the potential to be the next Jodie Foster? Do you hope to have a career like hers?
Did you/do you have a pet wolf?
For both:
Have you ever been in a relationship like Bella and Edward's? Would you want to be?
Do you wish that some scenes were done differently in the movie-did you have a different vision of what certian scenes would look like?
What can we look for next in your careers?
Kristen Stewart: Have you ever dreamed of moving to a small town and starting over like Bella in Twilight?
To both: Have you ever had a relationship as intense and romantic as Edward and Bella's or any of the Cullen couples for that matter?
NO SERIOUSLY.
NO SERIOUSLY HOW MUCH
My first question is for Rob: seeing that he started out in theatre, which does he enjoy more, acting on stage or acting on film?
And for Kristen, how did you go about getting into the role of Bella? The novel is from Bella's perspective so obviously that must have helped a lot, but what did you do to get fully into character?
how does it make you feel when people hold umbrellas up for you when it's not even f*ing raining?
j/w
Will you two still hang out and see each other even though filming is over?
All, how does it feel to be making one ofthe best book series ever made and do you feel that your adaptation is doing the book justice?
Rob, Are you single?
Cam too?
Kristen: You need a cool nickname like Rob!
Rob: Do your really have a crush on kristen and dream about her? or was it a joke? I HAVE TO KNOW!! i hope you do lol. Is Kristen a good kisser? What is your fav. thing about Kristen? What was your fave. scene to do in the movie? Why are you so sexy?
Kristen: is rob a good kisser? is rob really as funny in person as he is in his interviews? What do you think about Robs new name "Spunk Ransom"? Do you clap for rob after every take? What was your fave. scene to do in the movie?
Kristen- Are you doing any upcoming movies we should know about?
What was the most difficult scene for you to film?
For both: Why exactly was the movie of choice: Last Tango in Paris?
For Kristen: What exactly makes Robert the best Edward Cullen?
(We never get any love!)
For Robert: Are you excited or scared to be a part of one of the BIGGEST phenominons to ever occur in the book and movie industry?
And secondly my question is: If you could change one part that was changed or altered from the book to the movie what would it be?
Cam & Rob: How was it fighting each other? Was it hard to keep a straight face or were you guys completely serious?
Bella: What is one thing you hope the fans will admire that may not be so prominent in the movie?
For all:
If you could make a soundtrack for your life, which song would definately be on it?
Which song would you have wanted to put in the movie?
What is your dreamrole?
What line from any play or movie did you had delivered?
For Rob: I've heard Kristen sing in "Into the wild", will you do us the honor of singing to us? (If not today then in the near future?)
Robert - What do you think is Edward's most complicated personality trait? And, who do you see Edward disliking the most of everyone he knows/has ever met?
BOTH - Are you guys looking forward to Breaking Dawnand Midnight Sun?
For Bella: After reading the book, do you think you play a good Bella?
*Have fun interviewing them!!!Dont be nervious!*
*I love the Twilight Lexicon*
Rob- Out of this whole experience of being a wizard then a vampire what would you say is better and do you think more girls would fall for Cedric Diggory or Edward Cullen?
