On this Twilight Tuesday, I will become the latest MTV Newser to admit that I am absolutely, 100 percent, enthusiastically hooked on the “Twilight” series. A few months ago, I realized that I kept hearing the word “Twilight” around the office. So, I decided to find out where all of this buzz was coming from.
I had no idea what I was in for.
Cut to two weeks ago … I am late for meeting because I’m sitting in the corner of the newsroom, reading the last few pages of “Twilight,” the first (and hopefully most addictive, because otherwise I’m going to be late for a lot of meetings) installment in Stephanie Meyer’s series. Cut to one week ago … I’m even more hooked as I continue to read the rest of the books in the series.
Am I the only one who craves the kind of relationship had by Edward Cullen and Bella Swan? I mean, one is a vampire, the other is human, and they, teenagers (sort of), are confronted with death, immortality, and the chance that one might at any moment end the other’s life. Still, the unending, undying, unbeatable, and literally life-or-death romance between the two characters is one that I can’t help but want to further understand, and experience.
Meyer’s ability to mesh and mold our human ideals of good and evil never ceases to amaze me. Further, the complexity of Edward Cullen’s character surprises me again and again, as I am constantly reminded simultaneously of Edward’s ability to have compassion and good-will to a higher degree than most humans, and his inhumane, animalistic desire that becomes a constant battle for him. The humanization of the vampire is something that Stephanie Meyer has mastered, but she never fails to remind us that these are, as Edward names himself, “monsters.”
You can imagine my excitement when I found out that we are unveiling a scene from the “Twilight” film at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards’ preshow. And not only that, but we get to hear the words of Stephanie Meyer herself, as she gives us an intro and a taste of what we can expect. Imagining Meyer’s words and imagery put onto film is something that both scares and excites me. I’ll be interviewing Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart during our preshow, so I’m definitely looking forward to hearing their take on the books and the movie as well. I can’t believe I’m meeting Edward and Bella (or, well, in a way). In any case, I feel confident as I finish reading the series that I am forever Team Edward, but sometimes actors and directors can change things ever so slightly, so I’m interested to see how Edward, Bella, and of course Jacob look on the big screen.
Sunday’s the big day, guys. Tune in to watch my big “Twilight” interview. But first, help me out: What questions should I ask Robert and Kristen on the red carpet?
The MTV Movie Awards will air live on MTV on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, with MTV News’ “Coming Attractions” preshow kicking the evening off at 7:30 p.m. ET! Meanwhile, stay tuned to the MTV Movies Blog and MovieAwards.MTV.com.

After discovering that there was a huge fan base for the Twilight series, did you feel any pressure when it came to portraying the characters?

And btw... YOU WERE ON AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!!!
(and you should have won, in my opinion ;])
-Now that filming is done (at least until the -hopefully- soon to come New Moon and Eclipse movies), are you planning on re-dying your hair or keeping your bronze colored locks?
-How'd Bella's lullaby come along?
e
Kristen:
-How was it wearing the brown colored contacts for the movie?
-You're far beyond your 18 years, like Bella, (with the exception Bella, in Twilight, is 17)-with that being said, was it easy to portray the role of Bella? Did you bring any certain part of yourself to the part, anything you had difficulty with in particular?
Both of them:
-Do the overly crazed fans (like me :P) just freak the hell out of you sometimes? Or do you like how dedicated the fan base for Twilight is?
haha btw Spunk Ransom! haha love it =]
Cam: Did you know even though your the bad guy, your freaken hot! :D hahah -Sorry- For that x) What are you plan for the future?
How does it feel to know that you are the HOTTEST guy ever and that there are millions of girls who would die to be in your presence...AND did you know you have the best hair ever?

Are you guys nervous about the fan reaction after the movie?
Do you guys believe that you've lived up to the director's as well as Stephenie Meyer's expectations?
The fans of the novels seem to be showing positive support for the movie (and you as Edward)so it's looking like there will be no problem getting them to the theater to see it. What appeal do you think the movie will have for movie goers who are not already twiighters?
Did the fact that Twilight has such an ardent fan following have any effect on how you approached the role?
You filmed on location in Portland; where the weather was rainy, cold, and cloudy most of the time (which is the backdrop of the book). Did that have an effect on your portrayal of your character?
Least favorite scenes to film and why?
rob-why did you laugh when kristen said that 'I think he's really
Kristen: What would you look like if you cut off all your hair?
for RPattz: what is your opinion on the legalization of marijuana and would you ever consider visiting Vancouver, BC Canada?
What were the most difficult scenes to shoot?
For Kristen: In real life do you stare at Robert's face because of his beauty?
If you can't do it, you'll have to remove your pants as an alternative. I'm sorry but I don't make the rules.
So this is for Rob mostly: When you first picked up the script for Twilight, what were the things that pulled you into the story most? What were certain things you were excited about doing for this movie?
P.S. Pattycakes? That's adorable!! I like it better than Spunk Ransom.
Kristen - If you had to choose between Edward and Jacob in real life who would you pick?
kristen: Was i hard to express all the different emotions that bella goes through especially the on cue crying that she does whenever she gets mad at edward or any other characters in the film?
rob: have you gotten any marriage proposals from crazed fans?
Ps:If you come to Hawaii call me so I can show you around the island lol :]

What is your most memeroable awkward moment while filming twilight?
Rob: if you could hear anyones thought's, which of your co-stars would you like to read and why?
Cam: what attracted you to the twilight phenominon the most?
Kris: How would you describe each of your relationships with other cast members? Who are you closest with?
Do all the fans creep you out or is it kinda cool? And here's the real question WOULD YOU DATE A FAN?
Kristen: I know that the script changed a bit from how it was originally. If I am not mistaken Bella was originally more popular and less akward and shy. Which do you identify with more?
