What, you thought they only had study books for Darwin? That’s right, one of the most intriguing film stars of all time is finally getting his due when “Seagalogy: A Study of the Ass-Kicking Films of Steven Seagal” hits store shelves on May 23rd.
Released by Titan Books and written by Vern from “Ain’t It Cool News”, the tongue-in-cheek guide covers the breadth of Seagal’s career, from early hits like “Above the Law” to the mainstream blockbusters.
So with that in mind, we’re proud to offer up the full chapter on “Under Siege” exclusively to MTV Movies Blog readers. That’s right, get the in-depth look at Steven’s finest hour as he saved Hawaii from crazies Gary Busey and Tommy Lee Jones. Click the thumbnails below to start reading; it’s good times.

As a Buddhist I thank the Lord Buddha for that.
I've had high ecpectations of this book.
But these firts 10 pages are not realy convincing to by this book.
Maybe when I see it somewhere for less money.
This is typical American movie-garbage stuff. Making a study of bulls-shit caracters that doesn't mean anything.
Some websites heave whole pages written about who would win or not and all that crazy boy-stuff.
Stupid waste of time.
Except for the inside information on moviesets or the private life of Seagal. That brings much more a inside on who the man realy is or was.
All the rest is stupid entertainment stuff from a writer who doesn't have anything to do in his life.
Maybe he was attracted by the big money that comes out of this kind (show)buisniss.
I am not sure if mister Seagal would appreciate this book. Maybe he thinks it is yet another crazy guy who wants to make some money out of his fame.
The price that you pay for being famous.
Pure ?%#*@~@? comes out of it.
Maybe next time better.
The same goes for almost every new Seagal movie...................
Has buddhism made you bat @#$% crazy, dumb as @#$^ or both?
It's a joke.
