Some people are excited to see Benicio del Toro, while others are talking about the newest “Narnia” character. Personally, I’m more curious to see what Catherine Hardwicke and her “Twilight” team do with Taylor Lautner, an actor who could someday join Lon Chaney and Jason Bateman as the greatest werewolves of all time.
Our interview with Lautner just went live, so be sure to read up on his breakdown of Jacob Black, his new driving skills, and an eagerness to get half-naked. As any Twilighter would expect, the 16-year-old star is eager to film the proposed sequels that would greatly expand his role by putting him into some hairy situations.
“The coolest thing about being a werewolf in the second film, if that were to happen, is to be shirtless; that would be pretty fun,” he laughed, thinking about his Portland surroundings. “It would definitely be chilly.”
“[Jacob's angry werewolf side] is not like me in real life; I’m like Jacob’s Native American side,” he explained. “I’m very friendly, outgoing, energetic and easy to talk to. But playing the werewolf side, where he’s holding all this anger and stuff inside him, that’d be very different for me. I love to challenge myself as an actor.”
Although some Twilighters have voiced concerns that Lautner isn’t big enough to portray Jacob in the other books, the actor promises he’ll be hitting the gym as soon as “New Moon” gets the green light.
“In the first one, he’s just regular and lanky and not crazy,” a determined Lautner explained. “But I’m sure after this one, I will be working out, eating my protein, and staying away from the ice cream and the sugar.”
As for the look of the transformed werewolves, he said: “I’ve been curious about that; I’m sure I’ll hear about it before I leave, but I haven’t heard anything yet…I’m curious to see what that’s going to look like.”

Regarding the ACTORS: I think they LOOK their parts...we'll have to see if they pull it off on screen in December! (Would be nice to get a new trailer each month until then, though, right?)
If being team Edward means that I hate Jacob then I'm not team Edward.
If being team Jacob means that I hate Edward them I'm not team Jacob.
If being team Switzerland means that I don't care about who Bella choose then I'm not team Switzerland.
I think I'm just team Bella cuz she's right. If there wasn't vampires or werewolves and Edward had died a century ago, Jacob would be the perfect guy for her. But vampires and werewolves exist, Edward exist. So she loves him and she knows he is the perfect guy (well, he is not JUST a guy but... whatever) for her. He is the one. So that's it.
I don't hate Jacob cuz I understand him perfectly... I don't hate him just because he kissed Bella or cuz he loves her. In fact, I think he is a great guy. Everyone should give him a chance...
And I don't love Edward.I'm not even obsessed with him. Edward is for Bella. He is a fictional character just as Bella and Jacob. The end. I mean, he's not as perfect as Bella think, as all the girls think. You can understand that when you read the first chapter of midnight sun. But he loves Bella deeply.
So basically, Edward and Jacob are quite the same - two men. But Edward is more polite and a gentleman (and sometimes overprotective). It's normal cuz he was born a century ago, so he had a different education. And even if Jacob is a bit rude sometimes he is also very funny. Both are perfect for Bella, both love her and that's what really matter.
And that's why I'm team Bella. She love both but she loves Edward more than Jacob so she chose him.
I'm sorry for saying that but, all this "teams stuff" is quite stupid and unusefull. Sorry, I don't want anyone to get mad at me but it's what I think. Sometimes, some fans forget we are all Twilighters. That we love this story because of ALL the characters who are in it and cuz Stephenie wrote it. And believe me, it's really sad for me to see on the internet comments insulting Jacob or Edward. I tought we were all a united fandom. Maybe I was wrong.

and Taylorrrr. I love him as Jacob. He's just soo.. pretty !! =P he's adorkable, and just about exactly what I imagined Jacob to be. though his voice was a bit deeper in my mind..meh. =P yayyy

I want him to imprint. We all know (or have learned) that it is possible to love in more than one way. He loves Bella, yes, but if he were to imprint on someone (it would have to be a new character) it would be a totally different love. It would be stronger. I know he doesn't believe that is possible, but it just might be.
As for Edward. He is truly meant for Bella. He is like Ian (woot, the Host), Bella loves him with her whole soul, she HAS to be with him. It is not an option for her to not be with him. But she also loves Jacob (Jared...these things do loosely parallel), just not in the same way...never in the same way.
If you need more proof, I don't know, go read the books again. They lay it all out there. Take it for leave it. If she had picked Jacob, I would hate that, but I would have to understand that that is how it happened. So, all you Jacob fans will have to cope. It has always been a Vampire love saga. To make it anything else would fundamentally change it, which just cannot happen.
So, if you love Jacob more, that is find. You are welcome to go and claim him (^^)....because he is totally free.
