  1. i think im going to get sick watching it... judging from the clip, it looks very childish and way to animated for my taste...
  2. this is crap! looks like a badly animated computer game...way to colorful.
  3. WEll duh it looks animated its SPEED RACER haven't you ever seen the cartoon it's ANIMATED
  4. okay, if anyone remembers actually watching the series- it was VERY colorful for its time. Therefore, they wanted to capture EVERYTHING from speed racer. To do that, they had to make it colorful, for the full effect of the series.
  5. Well lets think about this. Although the original show was in fact animated, this is supposed to be a movie. That was one of it's biggest appeals to most people. What's the point in making a movie when most of it's going to be animated? It just makes it look poorly done and fake. Special effects are one thing. But I think that they over did it on this one.
  6. Holy Cow! This movie was incredible. There's alot of negative press on it, but I don't think there was anyone in the audience who wasn't blown away. For myself, I need to find a way to remove this permanent grin that I developed during the movie. While maybe not as good as Iron Man. I'd rather see Speed Racer a 2nd time before I'd see Iron Man again. Please stop bagging on a movie you haven't seen. It is so much fun.
  7. While I realize that this originated from a cartoon, they could have made the graphics much more realistic.
I frankly wanted to puke after the movie, it was SO colorful and fast moving.
  8. wachovski's new film is nit like the old ones
