We all remember the classic scene from “Knocked Up” where Katherine Heigl’s celebrity reporter informs her boyfriend/baby daddy Seth Rogen that she’s about to go interview the hunky star of “Lost” Matthew Fox, and his deadpan response.
“You know what’s interesting about him?” Rogen’s character asks. “Nothing!”
It’s one of many funny moments in the high-grossing flick, and everybody remembers it as some good-natured ribbing, right? Well, maybe not everyone.
“I’ve heard people reference [it],” the “Speed Racer” star responded when I asked him recently about the scene. “Those types of movies are not, like, my deal.”
In recent years, we’ve seen everyone from Steve Carell to Jason Bateman to Ryan Seacrest and William Baldwin tease their image with some prodding from Seth Rogen, Jason Segel and friends.
But at a time when everyone in Hollywood is so eager to hop on board the Judd Apatow train, does Matthew Fox feel differently about the improv king and his comedy troupe? Is he right in doing so? Watch the attached video, and then weigh in with your thoughts.

Can’t the guy have an opinion on movies without being called a DOUCHE. I know people who don’t think Judd Apatow movies are funny. Granted some of them are idiots but one of them is my aunt so it doesn’t bug me. I on the other hand went to see ‘Superbad’ and ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ on opening day so I totally get the crude humor. I LOVE Matthew Fox! He rocks my world weekly- on ‘Lost not real life. Idk him.- so he can say whatever he wants in my oppinion.

That clip was a major waste of time. Why does it matter that Matthew doesn’t play along with the interviewer, and what is he supposed to say that question anyway?

Good for Matthew for stating his own opinion and being honest instead of joiing in on what is now “cool”. I mean he did not say anything bad about Judd Apatow movies. I’m not really into the Judd Apatow movies or this new trend of comdeic movies. I saw Knocked Up and Sarah Marshall just to see them and Apatow is talnted comdeian and I it was funny. But this new kind of crude humor is my taste.

Fail, MTV, major fail! He didn’t let you play him, but are you SERIOUS??? Is he RIGHT/wrong to not care about some dude’s movies?
How the heck can you be right or wrong about the kind of movies you want to see/enjoy?
I don’t care about Apatow’s movies either but I guess on MTV you have to be a brainless, spinelss, mindless lemming to be “cool”.
