Movie junkets are where us journalists march single-file into a room like a Pink Floyd video to ask famous people about their new movie. Aside from the free food, it's kind of tedious for us, but what's it like for the other side? Thankfully, "The Promotion" stars Jenna Fischer and Seann William Scott were kind enough to show us exactly what a day full of interviews is really like.
The MTV Movie Awards will air live on MTV on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, with MTV News' "Coming Attractions" preshow kicking the evening off at 7:30 p.m. ET! Meanwhile, stay tuned to the MTV Movies Blog and MovieAwards.MTV.com.

I've got my suit, I've got my car, and I've got my script. But there's one thing I'm missing.
A date.
So we came up with the genius idea to head over to Playboy Radio, where Hef put out the call and sent down three beautiful Playboy Playmates: Qiana, Christi and Heather. When you're looking for a date, you can do a lot worse than picking from three Playboy Playmates.

Despite the fact that they're one of the biggest rock acts on the planet -- so much so that they made selling 10 million copies of their last album seem unassuming -- Coldplay keep a surprisingly low profile (see exclusive Coldplay rehearsal photos here!).
Case in point: their near-invisible entrance into the Gibson theater, which took place while PCD were still gyrating their way through rehearsals. Read more...
She was once almost "America's Next Top Model," but now MTV News correspondent Kim Stolz is working hard to ready the gold carpet for tomorrow's show. Literally! Check out the video and pics below for proof.

Pyro! Press Clippings! Platforms! Pussycats!
Yes, PCD's rehearsal is in full swing, as the girls perfect their footwork for tomorrow night's performance of "When I Grow Up."
Without giving too much away, let's just say there's whole lot of, well, everything going on at the moment, as the Dolls descend staircases, pirhouette on raised platforms, and duck licks of flame, all while massive video screens burst with images of diamonds, tabloid headlines and, uh, hearts (it is PCD after all). Dolls mastermind Robin Antin watches on with her army of choreographers. Read more...

Piling out of a pair of SUVs in an explosion of leopard-print, hot-pink and mylar, the Pussycat Dolls arrived on the scene at the Gibson Amphitheatre, ready to rehearse for their big (and I mean BIG) performance on tomorrow night's MTV Movie Awards.
They're onstage as I type this -- the things they can do while perched atop a pair of stiletto heels! -- and I'll have more about that in a bit.
But just so you're aware, the Dolls are in the building.
Repeat: The Pussycat Dolls are in the building!!!

Hey everyone! Yesterday was crazy, but I've rested up now and I'm getting ready for the big awards tomorrow. There were two screenings yesterday: "Kung Fu Panda" starring Jack Black and "Pineapple Express" starring Seth Rogen and James Franco.
First stop was to Paramount for the "Kung Fu Panda" screening. I'm usually not a big fan of animation, but this one was surprisingly good! There were some pretty awesome action scenes, and Jack Black did a great job of giving Po, the main character, a voice. The Q&A after was great, and we even got to see Jack show off some Kung Fu moves of his own.

MTV News' Kim Stolz also interviewed Jack, dressed in a Panda costume, no less. Read more...
He is the clue finder, the web-cutter, the stinging fly. He was chosen for the lucky number. He comes from the end of a bag, but no bag goes over him. He is the Barrel-rider.
Bilbo Baggins goes by many names in "The Hobbit," but one that he will never be known as is Jack Black, MTV News has learned.
Three days ago, The Daily Express wrote that Scottish actor James McAvoy was in "pole" position to claim the coveted role of Bilbo in Guillermo del Toro's two prequel films, but that Del Toro and producer Peter Jackson were also looking at Daniel Radcliffe and Jack Black for the part previously played in "Lord of the Rings" by Ian Holm.
That's news to Black, the actor told MTV News during a Q&A for his new film, "Kung Fu Panda." Read more...

So, MTV knows I'm a huge Twilight fan. I was unsure if I would do anything related to "Twilight" while I was here since Robert, Kristen, and Cam were only going to be at the awards and I wasn't sure what I'd be doing then, so I didn't arrive with any expectations.
I woke up this morning and was taken to one of the two MTV offices here in L.A. to shoot my video introduction to readers on the blog. I was pretty nervous because I am a horrible speaker and not used to looking into a camera or anything. I was filming the fifth or sixth take of my introduction, when Robert Pattinson tapped me on the shoulder and asked me if I wanted to be one of the first people to see the first scene from "Twilight" (you can watch it too during the Movie Awards preshow this Sunday, June 1 at 7:30pm ET!). The rest is history.
