Earlier this week on our channel, we announced the official beginning of “Twilight Tuesdays,” our special designated day on which we’ll be rolling out the hottest and most exclusive “Twilight” news from now until the film’s December 12 release. While much of the segment simply points to the content already online, many of you have asked to watch this video that aired on MTV. Well, we listen, so check it out below, and then click here to see nearly everything else we’ve done so far.

This won’t earn me any points with the ladies, but I remember back when “Star Trek” turned 25, I headed down to Washington DC to check out the traveling tour of props and uniforms from the movies and TV shows. Well, now you Muggles can do the same for your own fantasy franchise as Warner Bros brings a roaming circus of “Potter” memorabilia to a city near you.

Launching in Spring 2009, “Harry Potter: The Exhibition” is set to hit at least ten cities worldwide and will include 10,000 square feet of “elaborate displays” dedicated to the actual costumes, props and artifacts from the film. Among the items cited are the Gryffindor common room and Hagrid’s hut, as well as others from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The company says the exhibition will run over the course of five years; the final “Potter” film will likely hit theaters somewhere in 2011 or ‘12.

Wesley Snipes has presumably had rough days before. Say, the day he saw the reviews for “Blade: Trinity” for one. But today’s got to take the cake with the actor being sentenced to three years in prison for not filing tax returns (insert your favorite “Money Train” joke here). Anyway, we like Mr. Snipes; he can be a fine actor when matched up with the right material, but unfortunately it looks like work will have to wait a little while. So in the interest of helping Wesley look on the bright side of life, here now are ten films we’d suggest he check out before he starts paying his debt to society in the big house.

Others, however, may find Matt Reeves more notable for having directed the monstrous hit “Cloverfield.” I recently interviewed him on the topic of spoilers and sequels, and we also touched on his next film, which unfortunately will not involve either 30-foot-tall monsters nor Steven Seagal.

“I am directing a movie called ‘The Invisible Woman,’” he explained, distancing the flick from anything involving Chevy Chase, trenchcoats and floating sunglasses. “And it’s not like a sci-fi movie, even though the title seems to apply.” Read more…
