Just two weeks ago, Lauren Conrad put a jump in our step when she announced to MTV News that she and the rest of the cast had had “discussions” about a big-screen version of “The Hills.”
Alas, the second my colleague Josh Horowitz called it the best “idea in the history of the universe,” I should have known it was too good to be true.
“I've never discussed a movie possibility for 'The Hills'…and I'm not sure if for my first movie I'd let Lauren Conrad narrate me, so I don't think that would be something I would do," Heidi Montag told us over the weekend. "If I was doing movies, I'd want it to be with Denzel Washington or something like that. If they were to make a 'Hills' movie, I wouldn't be in it. No, thank you.”
Someone’s mouth is writing checks their work can’t back – and, frankly, we’re not sure it’s not BOTH Lauren and Heidi.
So, if not “The Hills” than what? What kind of role would Heidi like to tackle in her big screen debut?
“The perfect movie I want to do is like [Jennifer Garner's character] Sydney Bristow on 'Alias.' I want to be, like, an action star. I want a big gun," the newly minted fashion maven laughed. "Like Angelina Jolie roles. I want to be the badass."
So much for our dreams of Whitney on the big-screen. What do you think of “The Hills” movie being a non-starter? Would you still like to see it down the road? Sound off below.
