Keanu Reeves Leaves Door Open On Most Excellent ‘Bill & Ted 3’

Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves in 'Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure'They’ve been to Heaven, Hell, and the far reaches of time, but according to Keanu Reeves himself, Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted “Theodore” Logan may be making their most non-heinous journey yet - back to multiplexes. And no, this is not an April Fool’s joke.

Party on dudes! (air-guitar riff)

“I hear they’re doing a remake,” Reeves said of the movie that launched him to fame. “[Alex Winter and I spoke] on the phone the other day [about it]. We’re great friends.” So step into the phone booth, Mr. Reeves, would you ever be up for another sequel?

“The most serious we ever got was a few years ago,” he confessed of a hitherto unknown third film. “I had once mentioned about doing it when we were 40. Now maybe the only shot we have is to do it when we’re 50.”

And where will the Wyld Stallions be then? The same place they are now, laughed Reeves, “in each and every one of us.”

Another Bill and Ted’s! To paraphrase another character from the film: Everything would be different, but the same… things would be more moderner than before…bigger, and yet smaller…San Dimas High School football rules!!!!

How much would you love to see “Bill & Ted III”? Any ideas for where the dynamic duo could go next? Who would you like to see in the film? Joan, Noah’s wife? The salad dressing dude? Sound off below.

  1. You have got to be joking. I love the Bill & Ted's movies but I don't believe this is true. Post that agaun tomorrow
  2. Keanu was hot then, he's hot now, and he'll be hot when he's 50 and 60.
  3. GROSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

    no!!

    ha!
  4. OMG! Bill and Ted 3 would just be the most non non non non non heinous thing ever. do it. if this is an april fools joke i will cry.
  5. I would love a B and T 3 with Kenau and Alex. They are classic sweey airheads.
  6. I am Darth Ted and I am Luke Bill and your not my father! YYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
  7. I would love a third B&T movie, mainly because Keannu has some wonderful commedic chops he rarely gets to exercise. It would be nice to just let him relax in a film and be a little goofy, instead of having to save the world yet again...
  8. this is good
  9. Wow. I HATE stupid-comedy style movies...and even I would watch another Bill and Ted.
    These guys are classic.
  10. Man, BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER, & to me, by doing another film.
  11. In Bogus Journey, they touched upon aliens, so I would say intergalactic travel is a possibility. But its also kind of been done. Bill and Ted's Stellar Trek!

Some kind of alternate dimensions plot would be fresher. Bill and Ted's Radical Expedition!
  12. I'm so excited that I would actually pay to see it instead of downloading it.
  13. oooh I hope this is true.

I don't think they should do a remake, but a third for sure.
  14. this would be cool. plus, they'd better do it before George Carlin dies. Rufus has to be in it for it to work!!
  15. I would watch another Bill and Ted movie. They were the first movies I actually laughed at, not just smiled or chuckled at. Keanu was then and is still today my favorite actor.
  16. If this is an April Fools Joke, it's a bad one. I would LOVE to see a Bill and Ted's III. it would be most excellent!
  17. I think Bill & Ted should turn tail & follow The New Kids On The Block where they belong - in the past! Come on people, we've evolved since then. What happens in the 90's should stay in the 90's.
  18. Hell, why not? They weren't convincing teenagers then, they won't be now either =p

Much better idea than a frickin' remake.

  19. oh, LOL!
  20. Keanus best two films are still bill and ted I think, and thats not a put down . bill and ted were great and we are way over due for a sequel . I would be pissed if they got new actors . do it !!!
  21. it will never happen, sadly. the remake has already been green lit and it will piss on the grave of a classic.

it really bums me out because a sequel could actually work, with its original cast and everything. it would be so fun to see keanu back in that role again (especially considering he still looks the same, and could use a break from all the serious roles). also alex winters still looks the same. i saw an interview with alex last year, which revived my wishful thinking for a b&t 3. too bad it will never happen.
