March 25th, 2008 at 11:02 pm
Stephenie: Are you happy with the “adaptation” of your book, or is it too different?
Robert: Do you realize how many girls are absolutely head over heels in love with you?
March 25th, 2008 at 11:03 pm
To Ms. Hardwicke- Should the film be a success would you be willing to commit to directing all the future installments?
To Ms. Meyer- I think due to the rich world created by the twilightverse it would also have lended itself to being adapted well in an animated form. What would your thoughts be on exploring that avenue?
March 25th, 2008 at 11:04 pm
To All: So far in your life, what do you think is the most important value/aspect of life and Why? What advice would you give to others from life experiences? Can your vampires’ hair grow or does it stay the same as when they were changed?

CAST:
Have any of you got fan mail in the form of paintings or really awesome drawings, cards, letters. if you have which is your favorite, the one that stands out the most?

So I was wondering….
Robert what about they script/book caught your attention and made you want to play Edward? Were you nervous at all about playing him? I heard you got lots of negative fan mail and such…how did that affect you? (and just so you know, most of us LOVE YOU!!!)
Kristen being the same age as Bella, do you relate to her at all? Not only relationship wise but like moving or starting a new school or family wise?
Oh and we really really really want to know…Is Rob a good kisser??

How was it meeting everyone for the 1st time? How was the 1st day of filming like? Are you guys prepared for the amount of exposure and craziness that probably will happen after the movie comes?
March 25th, 2008 at 11:40 pm
To the director - A lot of the story takes place internally, Bella has her thoughts which we are privy to as readers, and Edward has his unique gift of reading minds. What fun creative liberties have you and your team in store to assist the audience understand those important unspoken moments? How will that play out in the movie?
Thank you
March 25th, 2008 at 11:43 pm
to the WHOLE cast…. Have you read the books to prep for your rolls in the movie? and if so, do you think you will be able to portray their character as well as stephenie did in her writing? Also, out of all the “special qualities” of each vampire, who’s would you most like to have in real life?
March 25th, 2008 at 11:46 pm
TO THE WHOLE CAST: If you’ve read the book, were there any parts that made you really think.. “oh dear, i have to act this out.” Including things like stunts.
congrats on your parts and good luck!
March 25th, 2008 at 11:53 pm
robert, will you dazzle me? ;D
March 25th, 2008 at 11:57 pm
To Robert, “Do you think this movie will have a big impact on your career?” and “What scenes are you worried about and why?”

If all of the books are made in to movies, which scene are you most excited about filming?
March 25th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
Robert Pattinson: What is your favorite part of playing Edward Cullen so far?
March 26th, 2008 at 12:20 am
For Robert:
-Was it hard to deal with the negative thing people may have been saying about you being cast as Edward, or did you even read any of that?
-What kind of training did you have to do?
-What made you want to be cast in the ‘Twilight’ movie, and did you always want to play Edward?
March 26th, 2008 at 12:21 am
To Edward and Bella: How was it filming the meadow scene together? It is a very important of the story and with Edward and Bella. Were you guys scared that you wouldn’t get it right for the fans?

Also, what is the coolest thing you guys have had to do on set?
March 26th, 2008 at 12:28 am
Question for Kristen and Robert:
What, if any, characteristics do you feel the most important for you to prepare for in your characters? And which of those characteristics is one that you most identify with? And finally, what do you think is the key to conveying the relationship your characters share on screen?
March 26th, 2008 at 12:31 am
Is it true that the piano scene where Edward plays the lullaby for Bella is going to be cut? I’m so sad if it is! That’s my favorite scene =( And to the cast in general, for those of you who read the books, do you feel that the movie is remaining faithful to the book? I know that it’ll be different on some levels but I’m just hoping I won’t feel like it was totally different. Good luck and I’m really pleased with the casting decision!
March 26th, 2008 at 12:32 am
Robert Pattinson: Stephenie Meyer is writing ‘Twilight’ in Edward’s Perspective the Book is called “Midnight Sun” My question is…
Have you either talked with Stephanie about ‘Midnight Sun’ and gained more Edward’s perspective through her, Or are you going off of what you have read in the books?(assuming you have read them.)
March 26th, 2008 at 12:32 am
How does it feel to be part of something that has such an enormous fanbase already? Is it intimidating?
How was the chemistry between Robert and Kristen on the set?
To Robert: How does it feel to be at the center of millions of girls’ daydreams? :]

March 26th, 2008 at 12:44 am
A comment to the cast: You have all been wonderful in the interviews. Very nice and accommodating.
To any of the cast mambers. Do you get the feeling that this movie, with it’s large fan base, could be the beginning of something BIG for your future in acting?
March 26th, 2008 at 12:52 am
Stephenie Meyer: If there was one thing that you could tell us about ‘Midnight Sun’ without giving away too much, what would it be?
What is your favorite thing about your book becoming a movie.
March 26th, 2008 at 12:54 am
To all the cast: If you weren`t an actor, what do you think you`ll be? what are your favorite hobbies?
March 26th, 2008 at 12:56 am
for Catherine Hardwicke (Director) I was wondering if you would mind giving a idea I have to Summit. If you get the rights to film the next few movie I think they should ask Steven Strait to play the older Jacob Black. I am not the only fan who feels this way and I’ll tell you why. In the book he as he starts to transform, his appearance is that of a twenty five year old. This actor the same age as Robert Pattinson which is twenty one. You might know him from Sky High and 10,000 B.C. He has the right look. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely Lisa Cullen

Hi Guys, Congrats on the movie. im a HUGE fan!
I’m from Australia and can’t wait to see the film!
Here are my questions:
For the entire cast- What is it like filming a movie that has such a huge fan base from the books? were you reluctant to take on the role? and what are your thoughts on where you would like to see your charcter go in the next book?
If there wer such things as vampires, would you want to be turned and live tat kind of life?
For Robert: What is like sinking your teeth into such a brilliant, intriguing, loveable character? Is there anything difficult about playing a Vampire?
Do you relate to any of Edward’s traits?
If you were a vampire and in Edward’s situation of being in love with a human, would you hold to the same morals he does in holding back on making Bella a vampire, or would you jump at the chance at keeping her with you forever?
Also do you have a girlfriend at the moment? And what is your favourite food?
To Kristen: - Not only do we want to know if Robert is a good kisser but i want to ask what is like acting out such a dramatic, deep and profound love that Edward and Bella share? It’s the kind of love al girls dream about really. And do you think that Robert IS the perfect Edward?
To Stephenie: - How does it feel knowing that you have now made it impossible for us girls to ever find a man? I mean Edward is the epitome of perfection. He is truly the perfect man. I’d love to find someone even remotley like him. Where did your ideas for him come from and do you believe there are truly men out there like him?
March 26th, 2008 at 1:07 am
Robert,
At the end of the day are you glad it’s over? Especially with all us crazed fans snapping photos waiting to see you or speak to you.
How do you relax after a shoot?
Thanks for the lovely smile…
March 26th, 2008 at 1:08 am
Kristen:
- What aspect of Bella’s personality can you relate to the most?
- Which scene has been your favorite to shoot so far?
- Does Robert dazzle you?
Robert:
- Can you relate to any aspects of Edward’s personality?
- Since Edward has experienced a lot of pain and loneliness over many decades, has it been hard to capture such an ancient sorrow?
- Edward struggles to accept whether the he has a soul and doesn’t want to take that from Bella. Do you share Edward’s opinion that there may be no after life for the vampires?
- Since Edward has a somewhat closed personality and doesn’t always let his true emotions show, has it been difficult portraying that on film?
- Have you and Kristen done anything to prepare and get comfortable with the closely intwined relationship Edward and Bella share?
- If you could pick another character from the series to play, who would you pick and why?
- If you were in Edward’s shoes, would you choose to change Bella?
Nikki:
- How do you feel about the fans speculation that you only recieved the part due to your connection to Catherine Hardwick and how do you plan to prove yourself in the role?
- Have you found it difficult being “mean” to Kristen/Bella while filming (and in character)?
- How the convertible? (Can I have a ride?)
Anna:
- Have you ever had an experience with someone like Jessica, someone who’s a little fake?
- What has been your favorite part filiming so far?
Peter:
- Has it been a challenge trying to portray the wisdom and experience that Carlisle has gained over the centuries?
- Do you share Carlisle’s opinion that there is a hope for the vampire’s soul in the afterlife?
- Did you do anything special to prepare for this role?
- How does working on a production like Twilight compare to work you’ve done in the past?
Kellan:
- Do you share any personality traits of Emmett?
- Have you done any physical training to get Emmett’s physique?
- Emmett loves competition, are you the same?
- Emmett adds a lot of humor to the books. Are you a joker on the set?
- Have you gotten to drive the Jeep?
- What do you like to do when your not filming?
- Will you marry me?
Ashley:
- How do you like your new hair?
- Is it hard to try to portray a psychic ability on screen?
- While not filming, do you and Jackson try to stay in character?
Michael:
- How are you getting along with the rest of the cast members?
- How does working on a production like Twilight compare to work you’ve done in the past?
Jackson:
- Jasper’s character is rather vague in the first book and he’s usually a little stand-offish. What’s your take on his personality and how do you plan to make him a presence on film?
- What do you think is special about Alice and Jasper’s relationship?
- How do you like your new hair?
- How are you getting along with the rest of the cast?
- Are you aware that you were on Stephenie’s website as a hypothetical Edward possibility? If you had the chance to play a different character in the Twilight series, who would you choose?
Catherine Hardwicke:
- Has it been hard to find a balance between what’s in the book and what works on film?
- Are you nervous about the fan reaction?
- Were you a fan of the books before filming?
- If the other books are made into movies, are you interested in countinuing directing?
Stephenie:
- How do you REALLY like the cast?
- If anything could have gone differently, what would you want it to be?
- Have you been on set?
- Have you provided the actors/writers/director with any extra info on the characters or the outcome of the overall story?
- Have you had the chance to speak with any of the actors since your lunch with them about a month ago?
- Has it been hard to see your story reinterpreted and changed?
THANK YOU MTV!
March 26th, 2008 at 1:11 am
Hi!
I absolutely adore twilight. Love the book and so far it sounds like I’m going to love the movie as well!
I just wanted to ask if there are any traits that you and your characters have in common?
Also, to Kellan Lutz, how do you incorporate Emmett’s intimidating, bulky and mascular air with his playful and,in Bella’s word, like a grizzly teddy bear side?
Australia is an fantastic country and it would be sooo cool to visit and is ideal for a movie premier *hint hint*. Come to Sydney, please???
Love,
Katrina
March 26th, 2008 at 1:16 am
For all cast/crew members: Were you aware of the mega fan base that followed the books when you signed on to do the film?
Were you at all surprised by the hype that began surrounding the film as soon as filming began?
Stephenie Meyer: did you get to talk to the actors about their parts before filming? if so, did you let them know anything from future books?
March 26th, 2008 at 1:17 am
To Robert Pattinson:
how do you feel when your with kris?
To Kristen Stewart:
how do you feel when your with Rob?
March 26th, 2008 at 1:22 am
To All Cast Members:
Do you find it challenging to live up to the impossibly gorgeous and glorious characters the fans of the Twilight Saga have grown to love so much?
BTW-LOOVE the cast selections. Forget the haters.
March 26th, 2008 at 1:23 am
Rob: I am a mom of 3 little boys, and clearly a grown woman. I’m married to a beautiful man… BUT> do you realize just how big you are with moms like me? We are spilling our guts out to eachother over you, and pretty much acting like young teenage girls. I was just wondering if you know that you ARE and WILL be replacing all those beautiful actors? You are IT now, for young and semi-old like me and MANY others!!!
March 26th, 2008 at 1:31 am
I have a question for Kristen and Robert but I first want to say that I was thrilled to discover the cast was so brilliantly chosen.
But back to the point, in the book Twilight the chemistry between Bella and Edward is instantaneous and subtly obvious though they both try to ignore it and banish it at first. How did you two prepare and convey such a complex and close relationship?
March 26th, 2008 at 1:33 am
Princess Kellmett: ( Kellan)
Your sister is doing an amazing job of running your myspace site, how do you feel about the huge response it’s getting, and don’t you just love her?
Are you excited about the huge new fanbase you are gettng?
March 26th, 2008 at 1:52 am
To all of the cast: Which member of the cast would you like to be related to and why?
Catherine Hardwicke: How hard is it to adapt the movie to the book without making the fans too upset? And is there any advice that you took from fans that you considered seriously and put in the movie?
And to the AMAZING Stephenie: Is there any scene from any of the books that you most definitely would want in the movie/movies?
Can you relate to any of the characters on a serious level?
Which character was the most fun to think up?
This question is for EVERYONE:
When do you plan on having a tour down under. Australia, I mean. Because we are way too deprived of everything.
March 26th, 2008 at 1:57 am
Catherine - Assuming that the Twilight sequels are made into movies, would you want to stay on and direct all of them? Also, would all 4 books be made into movies or would you combine two of the books into one movie so that the series was a trilogy?
Please choose my question.
Thanks.
