Hollywood’s take on Stephanie Meyer’s bestselling book series “Twilight” has now rounded out some of its biggest casting…that of the Cullen family, the mainstay of the blockbuster vampire franchise. Peter Facinelli (”Six Feet Under”), Elizabeth Reaser (”Grey’s Anatomy”), Jackson Rathbone (”The O.C.”), Ashley Greene (”King of California”) and Kellan Lutz (”Stick It”), alongside the previously revealed Nikki Reed and Robert Pattinson, have been confirmed by MTV News as the stars who will make up Forks’ first family. In addition, the photo of the group in costume is the first image revealed from the film, which is currently shooting in the Portland, Oregon, area.

As for me, I love ALL the actors and I'm so excited to see the movie... I just wish it was coming out sooner!!!

All the other characters are completly wrong though. Chace Crawford or Gaspard Ulliel should have been Edward Cullen. Robert Pattinson is okay. Well, I just cant wait to see how the movie turns out to be though.
I just hope the movie is going to be as good as the book!!!

Ok, I fully understand the difficulty, likely impossibility, of getting 7 ridiculously good looking people.
... They should have then at least considered that the actors have ample acting ability: with or without experience.
Nikki Reed... is really not much of an actor. Nor should she have been a serious consideration for Rosalie... who should have been elegant, graceful, refined. Nikki exemplifies none of these attributes, nor the drive that many actors appear to have. This was the biggest shame of all... fans are meant to sympathise with Rosalie. This is unlikely to happen.
Elizabeth Reaser and Peter Facinelli are appropriate... albeit a little off target, appearance wise. Likewise, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone are comparitively likeable.
I personally don't feel as though I've seen enough of Kellan Lutz's acting to judge him as of yet.
And Rob Pattinson... they could have done a whole lot better there, to say the least. Acting wise especially... how can they cast someone as experienced and committed as Kristen, then put Rob next to her? He's obviously going to look like an amateur. Kristen Stewart was pretty much a bulls eye.
Honestly though- a lot of the fans seem to reason with themselves that 'Stephenie is giving it a chance, so I will too'. That's not really a legitimate reason. Of course she's not going to discourage her own fandom. Like many fans though, I was willing to give 'benefit of the doubt', but the casting seems to worsen daily. Does any critical fan have hope in this project anymore?
And the photo, ah yes it disappointed me majorly butt seriously, i dont care who plays who, be appriciative that there is a movie!
Alice is okay I guess.

I think that the actors are great, and Robert will be a great Edward, in my opinion, Twilight is gonna to be an awesome movie
ashley is absolutely PERFECT for alice, and emmett usually looks good and carlisle and esme and i like kristen as bella also. But edward.
tut tut. i fear he doesnt fit the part in looks but he is a fantastic actor. Tom sturridge is my perfect edward in looks but i havent seen him act before. the cast is almost perfect =)
i love ashley she suits alice so well.
i cant wait for the movie and Breaking Dawn to come out. BRING IT ON!!!!!
