God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates movie about dinosaurs…movie about dinosaurs becomes the biggest film in history, spawning two sequels, billions of dollars in revenue, and a veritable cottage industry of toys and games. But will there ever be another?
It’s the most discussed on-again, off again sequel in recent memory, but if “Jurassic Park IV” ever DOES get made, one thing’s for sure, joked franchise castmember Alessandro Nivola, it sure as heck won’t include him.
Hold onto your butts - somebody’s about to bump himself out of a movie.
“If they were to bring my character back they would have a real problem,” he laughed. “In the third one I got so gored by these pterodactyls! I think I would be like Mark Hamill in the last ‘Star Wars.’ I would have to be still wrapped in gauze throughout the movie.
“I imagine they are going to try to avoid that situation,” Nivola concluded.
But, then, at least he has a chance of coming back – which is a lot more than he would have had if they followed the original script, Nivola revealed.
“[Billy] was originally in that scene where those birds start pecking at him, and I think that was the last you were meant to see of him,” Nivola confessed. “And I think maybe they thought awww, those kids are gonna be a little freaked out - the youngest guy in the movie has just been bumped off. So they had me re-appear looking worse for wear on the helicopter.”
“Jurassic Park IV”: They were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should. Would you like to see another trip down dinosaur lane? And, if so, what characters would you like to return? Sound off below.

I would love to see another Jurassic Park, it would be a perfect way to start off the year!

I don’t really think a new JP is necessary.
I love 1, can stand 2, and really like 3. But to make another one would be to pull the string too much.

I would love to see a new JP. The films have always taken us to a place that many films do not. Yes, with every release there seems to be a fund intake of less and less. But a “4″ might can bring in a better haul than “the lost world”. What they should do, is bring back sam neil and jeff goldblum in the same JP, like the first. Either way, ill be there on DAY 1 to see JP-4, if it ever gets created, that is. Come on Steven!

I would also love to see a new JP made. It’s not pulling the string too much because there are always new discoveries about dinosaurs being made. I believe some good actors to come back are Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum, Vince Vaugn and Julianne Moore. I hope they make another and cannot wait to see what type of dinosaurs they bring into it.

Jurassic Park 4 would be soo freakin awesome if they made a new one. have Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum, and some of the original cast back in. that would be amazing.

That would be so great to have ANOTHER movie added to one of my favorite TRILOGIES! Ha! I think they could definitely bring back Nivola.. I mean come on! They’re making a Crank 2 aand Statham is somehow back in it, live and kicking. So it can be done and SHOULD be done. I want to see Goldblum in this #4 for sure.

It would have to start before JP1 began. With bad things happening to the Scientists and trainers that John Hammond didn’t tell the first Guests to the park in JP1. It could work

I’d love to see Seinfeld’s Newman (from the first Jurassic Park movie) come back with half his body gone (ala Lovelace from the Wild Wild West Movie). He, of course, wants to harvest dinosaur stem cells to regrow the missing half of his body. Needless to say, things go horribly wrong and leads up to…CLOVERFIELD!!!!!!

I am a long time JP fan, dating back to 1993. My life has been influenced by Jurassic Park more than any other movie or form of entertainment has. I am 18 now, and am still as into JP as I was when I was 5. I collect the toys, Memorabilia, the whole nine yards. I, unlike a few thought Jurassic Park 3 was amazing, It just really felt like a JP film, as did The Lost World. After 6 years, I must say, I am more ready than ever for a Jurassic Park 4. I love sequels and always look forward to them, but with JP, I doesn’t feel so much like a want, but more of a need. My loyalty to the franchise has lead me to feeling the need for a fourth film. I hope the words of Frank Marshall “JP4 is on the back burner for the moment, and will be moved up after Indy IV” are true. Since Spielberg and company are almost done with Indy, I am anticipating with full heart to hear some solid JP4 news this spring/summer

I love JP 123 i watched it all the time when i was little and i still love it. i think Sam neil should be back DR malcom lol should be back and the two kids that would be awesome if the kids come back the first time i saw 3 i thought it was the BEst but know inm older it was actually the worst. but im not sayin anything ion JP 4 cause of All the silly storyline but i sure hope theres one

I would love one more JP film to end the franchise with a bang. They need to bring the original cast back (and maybe 1 or 2 from the second film). But most imortantly, they need to go back to the original island in some shape or form and Spielberg needs to be more involved if not directing!

I’d LOVE to see Ian Malcolm come back, and Grant as well. I’d like to see how their characters reflect upon each other, and how they react to each other now that they’ve grown so much and had time to think and mature since their first experiences.
I’d also love to NOT SEE dino-human hybrids with laser assault rifles holding America hostage and threatening to call in UFO reinforcements. Let’s keep it creepy, dark, mysterious, and down to Earth, like JP and The Lost World. Less corniness, more philosophy, science, and character depth. And REALISTIC DINOSAURS. I was shocked at how fake looking and overly colorful the skin of the animals in JPIII looked. They need to step back up!

Without a doubt a 4th installment could be more than successful. It’s Spielberg for Gods sake! lol. I feel that the sequel could be top notch as long as it doesn’t take place in the city. Keep it in the jungle’s of Isla Sorna or site “C” etc. Keep the natural aspect to it. And a must is absolutely…bring back some big names of the original cast: Grant, Malcolm, Hammond, maybe Ellie, (and i wish Muldoon lol). It could be so wonderful and i, for one, absolutely look forward to the movie.

Another Jurassic Park would be awsome but it would be difficult to write. The first Jurassic Park was sweet, the sencond one was cool and the third one was up there but it seems as though the writers were milking the plot line a little when they ended the third one. Finding a story for a fourth may prove to be easier said than done but if it happens would prbably be just as good as the other three.

I would love a #4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont really care what it is about, just as long it doesn’t suck!
P.S: “john”, the actor that played Robert Muldoon in the 1st JP died from cancer.

I’d totally love to see another JP. As far as characters… I’d love to see Ian Malcolm back. As well as Lex and Tim. It’d be awesome to have another JP. So yeah… bring on JP 4!!

I would love to have another Jp movie just to kick it off until someone creates the real thing. lol

Personally, I think Hollywood NEEDS another Jurassic Park film. Yes, I’m biased, but I felt that The Lost World was better than Jurassic Park 3. It went from spectatular, to pretty cool, to mediocre. Looking at a Jurassic Park timeline, JP3 didn’t real add anything new to the story other than the Spinosaurs and the “new” intelligent raptors. I really think that they should tell a dark story. Dinosaurs are for kids, but they shouldn’t feel bad to scare the crap out of ‘em. Lose the Spinosaurus. Bring back Neill, Goldblum, the kids, and Hammond. Have it take place in the jungle. I would love to see more character development from those actors. Anyways, Hollywood NEEDS Jurassic Park 4! God knows it would still rake in the big bucks. *Crosses fingers*!

Those movies are good. I really liked the first 2. The Lost World was a step down, but still a good movie. The third was a disaster. I’m hoping for at least a decent fourth to rebound from the third. I would like to see Jeff Goldblum agin, as well as Sam Neill and Laura Dern. Hopefully they will return to Nublar because i’ve had enough about site b.
