We’ve heard of fast rising stars, but this is getting ridiculous.
27-year-old Adam Brody is going from the Land of Women to the Hall of Justice, as the former television star has closed negotiations to play The Flash in George Miller’s “Justice League of America” movie, the “LA Times” reports. The version of the Flash seen in “JLA” will be Wally West, nephew to original Flash Barry Allen, whose death is rumored to open the upcoming flick.
But what, oh what, could this possibly mean for poor Ryan Reynolds? It means, almost certainly, that his dream of playing the Flash is all but dead, as David Dobkin previously revealed exclusively to MTV News that his upcoming spin-off would exist in the “Justice League” universe. While no confirmation has been made to that effect, it probably means Brody has signed onto one or more solo films as well.
When contacted for comment by MTV, a Warner Brothers representative echoed statements made earlier to The Times, saying that the film hasn’t yet even been greenlit.
Think fast! Is Brody the guy you want to see as Wally West? What other actors would compliment his casting? What does this mean for upcoming solo films? Sound off below!

Lets hope im wrong
Common is playing the GREEN LANTERN
LOL!XD
I Take it your a big GL fan. When I said I could see him as Kyle, I ment as Kyle is shown in Emerald Twilight/ New Dawn. Even for Kyle, Brody would still be my very last choice. Brody as Wally..WTF. I REALLY REALLY REALLY Hope this move is not Greenlit like Jack Black's GL was never lit and the next time around they get a REAL CASTING DIRECTOR with some REAL ACTORS and not a bunch of D-listers casted by someones retarted cousin. I stillthink the only propperly casted charactor is Wonder Woman
Because I totally agree with Doug. This movie is casted like a highschool play. Why are they casting a superman that looks like superboy (Scott Potter)? What really mifs me is that when you put 28 year old Scott Potter, next to 31 year old Ryan Reynolds, Reynolds looks alot more mature (manly) than Potter. That's most likely the reason why they didn't cast Reynolds as the Flash, which is a total lost, because Reynolds would be a better choice, and it would force the casting director to look for a "manly" Superman.
BTW I heard rumors about him playing deadpool (marvel)?
I Feel if us fan keep talkin about it they might do sumthin' about?? who's wit me?
