As anyone knows, trying to engage an expectant parent-to-be in a conversation about anything other than their kid is like boxing a glacier. Good luck getting them to mention anything else.
So it is with Jessica Alba, the sexy 26-year-old star of the “Fantastic Four” flicks. A month after chatting us up at Comic-Con, Alba’s still pregnant with anticipation for little Franklin Richards to appear in the next installment of the superhero franchise.
“I think the next thing we have to go through is having a baby. That’s what happens next,” Alba reiterated to MTV News last week. “Franklin comes along and the Fantastic Four have to deal with this powerful new child.” And here we wanted to talk about Namor. (No, really. We asked. Don’t you think the last flick set him up?)
But no matter who appears in FF3, it’ll be a long time coming, said Alba. “There a potential strike happening so everyone’s freaking out - they’re cramming movies in,” she contended. “I’m not sure if ["FF3"] is one of those movies you can really cram.”
Ok, everything’s fair game. Given the first two movies, what characters would you like to see in “FF3,” villain or otherwise? Sound off below.

I’d like to see the Skrulls. Galactus was one thing, but a full on world wide skrull invasion would be pretty cool, which could give way to introducing Mar-Vell.

I think we’re headed for Annihilus and the Negative zone, if Sue’s going to be a mom; so went the story waaay back in Annual 6. But then, I don’t think Fox will embarass itself with such “petty” details, and will maybe try to bring back the Surfer (if last month rumor has any truth); forget the Namor character; he’s with Universal pictures; the Black Panther then? Tim Story has been reported to digging the character; so to me it’s either Annihilus or the Panther.

I hadn’t really thought of the Namor angle, but that would be cool. Sam Jackson as the Puppet Master would be a nice additon as well. Two suggestions though. 1. Lose Julian McMahon in favor of the guy who played the masked king in the Orlando Bloom starred ‘Kingdom of Heaven’, and 2. Hire Michael Bay to direct any and all acion sequences. THEN wed have a FF flick worthy of Marvels first family.

I find it kind of hard to see Jessica, with a baby, in F43. She really pretty, but the character Sue, deffinatley. I hope they do something with kids though it would bring a whole new light into the movie.

Have any of you considered the Inhumans plotlines? It sure seemed to me that Johnny is feeling a little jealous of Reed & Sue and Ben & Alicia and needs some security in his life. Hello Crystal and family. I would love to see the “Inhumans Among Us” story on the big screen. Sue having Franklin now would be rushing it a bit. Just my opinion…anyone agree?

Galactus should come back to earth but, before that i think they should show a run in of the silver surfer and namor (because it would be a awesome fight). And sue shouldn’t be pregnant during the movie but, maybe she could show she is in the end

I agree with Terry, BRING ON CRYSTAL! Johnny is feeling a littl lonley, but I still think that a skrull named Lyja shoud come into the story, pose as Crystal, have a little cat fight over Johnny, and Johnny pick which girl. POLL TIME! Which girl should Johnny choose, Crystal, a cute Inhuman who has control over the four elements, or Lyja, an intelegence officer from the Skrull Galaxy who can shape shift and maybe shoot lazers from her hands, hence nameing herself ‘Lyja the Lazer-Fist!’ As you can tell, I am a BIG F4 Fan! NO NAMOR!!! He could win Sue’s heart like in the comics! AAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! I do no like Namor! Besides, he is a walking winged-foot! I bet he only likes sue for her looks.

i do agree with those who said that johnny will feel a bit jealous and lonely because of the f4 member’s relationships. but knowing that johnny is a hot-headed guy and is always looking for girls he might not feel that way. but i would still love to see johnny settle with someone maybe crystal or alicia (as mentioned in the comics). i would prefer if crystal that place because than a bit of fights will take place between him and ben. mentioning another thing i would introduce more enemies like the silver surfer in the f4 second movie. i am a big f4 fan so i am very looking forward for the fantastic four third movie.

One word, “Cameo”. Another superhero team up, I think, would be fantastic. See other known character with powers popping up in from another comic has always been one of my favorites. Would anyone really be upset if Spiderman, Hulk, Ironman, or any other comic-book-crossover-to-movie superhero made an appearance in a FF3? Maybe even bring in a new face like She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, etc….. No matter who shows up, if FF3 turns out anything like the first two, I’ll be in the theater that night.

1) The actor Harper Stew refers to (Ed Norton) is playing the new Hulk.
In addition, if Sam Jackson appears in a FF3, it’ll be like his cameo in Iron Man–as Nick Fury.
Namor would be nice, but Sub Mariner is set up at another studio. Same with Panther.
I would like the Mole Man myself…or Annihilus.
But my big ? is this: awhile back Chris Evans (Torch) didn’t think there would be a FF3, much less be in it.
