Now what the hell does it mean? Tonight I don't care. It's got a cast. It's been filming around world since June. It's got a release date and now it's got a name thanks to a dramatic VMA announcement by Shia LaBeouf (Click here to read about the new title and to see a video of Shia's announcement).
Gut reaction? I like it. Let's face it. We all knew something was amiss when Lucas announced the first prequel was "The Phantom Menace." But this, this I can get behind! "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" feels nice and "Temple of Doom"-y to me and that's a good thing. It sounds like the kind of place Indy might run into Allan Quatermain or at the very least Short Round? Hell, I'll take Willie Scott.
Less than eight months away people! Plenty of time to debate what the title means? Who would like to throw out the first theory? What the hell is the kingdom of skulls? Anyone?
