It’s Friday, Chris Tucker ain’t got no job (at least nothing on his upcoming schedule), and ain’t got nothing to do (now that publicity has wrapped for “Rush Hour 3″). Can Ice Cube convince him to return to the hood for a follow-up to their 1995 “smoking” hot hit?
On a recent visit to the set of his new flick, “First Sunday,” the Frozen One revealed that he would love for Tucker to return for a fourth “Friday.” For his part, Tucker told MTV News that he’s open to the prospect.
“I would love to, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it,” he said. “But come with a great script and I’ll consider it. We’ll see.”
Acknowledging that he “sorta moved on” from the role that made him a household name (but one that also branded him as a pot smoking troublemaker), the $25 million man nevertheless said he still has a soft spot for the character and the movie.
“The first ‘Friday’ took only 20 days to film and $2 million to shoot,” he said. “It was so special to me.”
Would you like to see Chris Tucker return for a fourth “Friday”? And what would the title be? “Friday After the Next Friday We Told You About Last Friday”? Sound off below.

As for the fourth movie, make it a prequel and call it "Last Friday"
I would love to see Tucker back in the mix.
As for a name maybe 'Once Apon A Friday' or 'Last Friday'.
AMAGINE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WOULD GO SEE THIS MOVIE JUST TO SEE HIM PLAY SMOKEY AGAIN, I THINK THE SUCCESS OF THIS FILM DEPENDS ON CHRIS TUCKER.
IM SURE THE MOVIE WITHOUT HIM WOULD BE GREAT WITHOUT HIM, BUT LETS BE HONEST ITS NOT FRIDAY WITHOUT SMOKEY.
well, here it goes....
"FRIDAY 4:
the hood return of smokey and craig"
"Month After Friday"
LAST FRIDAY dat'll b hella koo
We begin our story with craig (ice cube) getting off of work at the local "super-mart". when he gets home to his same house from part 1, his dad talks to him about his sister getting ready to leave for college. craig talks to her about staying in school(something positive)-
enter smokey. we see a really nice bentley/beamer/nice car role up. you hear mumbling from smokey but still havent seen his face. we see a shot from his back wearing all black with a backwards hat. he knocks on the door loudly.
-craig walks over(still in uniform) to open the door.- we get a shot of smokey when the door opens-still lookin goofy as hell, but a little more classy. they hit it off and drive to a local fast food place
-craig asks where smokeys been.
BACKGROUND STORY- Smokey was away in rehab, but at the same time hiding from big worm and his band of thugs. he decided to take all the savings he had from selling all his weed off and start a record label. after having put out a hit single from his one rap-artist (played by a comedian or someone semi-famous) chris took the profit and bought a new huge house and nice car living in some ritzy neighborhood all ghetto style. his artist decides to leave the label after not getting payed...
-craig decides to actually quit his job on his day off* and move in with smokey and try to help smokey build the label back up. they both encounter all their usual foes from before and maybe we get breif cameos from actors of previous fridays?
-in the end i think the label should be a success with craig becoming the new hit-artist and Smookey becoming his manager...
the story could be changed but overall i believe that yet another friday could definitly ONLY work if Chris was onboard completely. he really did make the first movie as did the movie make his career. he is really funny, its just that whenever you think of him the first thing that comes to mind is Friday!!! we cant help it chris-give us just one more!!! for the love of gooood we miss smokey!!!
Chrid tucker should consider the role and if Mike Epps is also in it it will become another classic
Make the @?$*#%@ movie!!!
p.s it should be called last friday or that friday
i think he should be in it.
The story would have to be able to stand on it's own and allow the characters to show how they have grown since the first movie. You can still get into a ton of funny and outlandish -ish between Thursday and Saturday without the focus being drug related.
Chris T. shouldn't hold out for a big salary since he should be grateful for 'Friday' opening more doors for him. Let this be your way of saying "Thank You" to Cube, and your fans, for giving you to a career that allows you to get paid so much money. It is good to see you using that money to help the world. Just remember... just because you made it to the top doesn't mean you should turn your back on where you came from. Even a devout Chritian would understand why you would do the movie. Being grateful doesn't convict you...
New Line should also realize that the "Friday" seires needs closure... especially after the failed animated series. Look how Miramax has fueled Kevin Smith's career with his Jay & Silent Bob characters. That's the kind of support for actors/directors that studios need to stand behind. Friday MADE you a ton of money, considering the budget was 3.5 million to make. Quit being Hollywood leeches and GIVE BACK to both the consumer and actors.
I guess only time will tell what may become of the 'Last Friday'...
