Breaking: Ryan Reynolds Says He’s Up For ‘Justice League’ Film

Ryan Reynolds says “The Flash” may yet live. It just might not be in the superhero’s own film first. Just hours ago, our own Shawn Adler peppered the oft-rumored star of “The Flash” about his association with the DC comics speedster and here’s what Reynolds said: “‘The Flash’ isn’t dead at all. There’s talk of it being a JLA movie, the Justice League having them all together. And then there’s other talk of doing a ‘Flash’ movie with [director] Shawn Levy.”

Rumors of a Justice League movie have gained momentum in recent weeks. Now we’re hearing it straight from one of the potential stars’ mouths. When asked if he thought the JLA film might happen first, Reynolds told us, “[it] might, yeah. I don’t really know how much I’m allowed to talk about that stuff. But I’m sure they’ll figure out something. It’s no secret that they have a JLA script and it’s a project that’s in development – the contents of which, who knows. We’ll see.”

For an actor who’s no longer “officially” attached to play a role, Reynolds sounded very excited about the prospect of a Justice League film, “I’d love to see a full on Justice League movie done, the scope of which is just enormous. I think it’s something they can pull off.”

A Justice League movie could succeed on the big screen under the right conditions, but I just feel like they're pushing it through the production process for all of the wrong reasons. As much as I want a movie like this to be awesome, I just feel like, if it happens at all, it's going to crash and burn big time.

Get the research right. Stay away from mainstream
washouts who can't act. stay true to the character. no rubber nipple suits. no danny elfman scores...and the movie should be good.

The Martian Manhunter HAS to be in it. And so does the Bat. As for Aquaman...I'm indifferent. I'd like to see one of the Hawks in it. Here is my proposed cast and actors.

As much as I'd like to see a live action JLA movie I'm not convinced that anyone could pull it off properly, especially since Bale has said he's not been approached and if it wasn't in keeping with the Nolan movies, he's not interested.

I almost think I'd prefer a good stop motion flick based on Alex Ross's artwork. Can you imagine how cool a Kingdom Come movie would be?

Question is, which director could pull this off? You need to develop all the characters and all within telling a story - will be a long film (and expensive). I'd suggest James Cameron, Robert Zemeckis or Wolfgang Petersen (previously attached to the shelved Batman Vs Superman).
