One of the biggest debates sweeping the net these days is who would remain standing in a match between Jason Bourne and James Bond. To set the matter straight, we went to the man himself — Bourne’s alter-ego Matt Damon — for his own take on the matter. Bonus question: who would win between Bourne and Batman? All that addressed in the video below. “The Bourne Ultimatum” hits theaters today (read Kurt Loder’s review here).

i hink its fair to say that if the UK has james bond and the US has jason bourne and they are both great no matter what, then there shouldn’t really be a contest

Bourne beats Bond but equals Batman in hand to hand combat. Without the suit and gadgets Batman is just like Bourne.

Bourne all the he’s way more relistic than bond and doesn’t need gadgets and actually feels guilty for killing

Jason bourne offcourz..James bond is so unreal and the character is just full of crap..James bond is nothin when it comes to hand on hand combat…Bourne is believable,gritty,far more believable..Watch Bourne series n U feel James bond is a kindergarten kid playin with dangerous toyz!!!

Matt Damon is obviously an out of touch idiot. Of course Bourne displays more hand to hand combat skills than Bond but that is how they interpret the two characters.
Damon was trained and taught to play Bourne that way while the Bond character is less likely to use his fists and more likely to use his wits.
That is until Danny Craig got the Bond role. It would be wrong for Craig’s Bond to fight like Jason Bourne but his Bond would beat Damon’s Bourne in a brawl anyday. Craig has a hooliganism about him and Damon is far from being a brute.
What makes Bourne so high and mighty. He’s not that good. Sir Sean and George Lazenby would whup Damon anyday. And who’s to say Sir Roger, Dalton and Brosnan wouldn’t be able to pull off Damon’s moves if they were taught to? They would definitely look slicker and smoother in doing so.
So, in closing, Bourne vs. Bond. No contest. 007 by unanimous decision and still the undisputed champion.
Damon is a poo-butt.

With all apologies to Matt Damon and all his sheeples out there. I didn’t mean to call Matt a poo-but. What I really meant to say was…
…MATT DAMON IS A BABY-FACED-SOGGY-IN-HIS DIAPERS-POO-BUTT!
