Another day, another chance for MTV News to speak with Shia LaBeouf, who at this point should probably be on our payroll. But did the "Transformers" star finally give up the goose on his role in "Indiana Jones" and admit that he was about to play Indy's son? Well, no. But at least now we know why.
"See this is the problem, they have snipers who are disguised as cameramen here in this crowd who would gladly blow my head off if I say anything about 'Indiana Jones,'" the 20-year-old action hero told us at the MTV Movie Awards. "Spielberg is crouching on the roof and watching me. You can't see him because he's very wispy. But I saw him."
Fair enough. But even if he won't talk about the next "Indy," we figured it was safe to ask about the previous three. Like, for instance, which one is Shia's favorite? "The first one man. 'Raiders' is a life-changing experience," he answered. "'Raiders' because it was the jump-off point and it was where all of the characters were created and introduced. Harrison was at the top of his game...[he was] throughout the whole series, but especially in 'Raiders.'"
High standards. Can Shia and the next "Indy" live up to them? Sound off below.
